About This Experience

Located within the Moreton Bay Marine Park, Peel Island is an ideal destination for a quick getaway from Brisbane!

The island has a rich history of serving as a leper colony and the remnants of the facilities are still there! Now, it offers various recreational opportunities and allows you to make the most of the island’s scenic surroundings.

On this half-day cruise, you can sail to the stunning Horseshoe Bay on the southern side of Peel Island and engage in a variety of water activities!

Cruise on a custom-built sailing catamaran, ‘Aria’, with an open, unobstructed deck and comfortable sightseeing areas – the perfect vessel for your island exploration. Enjoy your morning tea as you sail away from Cleveland and into the pristine waterways!

Upon arriving at Horseshoe Bay, you are free to enter the clear-blue waters, splash around, go stand-up paddleboarding, or challenge your group to beach games. You can choose to spend your time here just the way you want.  Whether you choose to lounge around on the aqua mat, or embrace the highlight of the itinerary – boom net swimming – the choice is yours!

This fun ocean spa experience will have you ride the waves safely on the edges of a boom net – a large net attached to the back of the vessel. And while you’re at it, keep an eye out for Moreton Bay’s abundant marine life including the two unique species of dolphin – the Australian Humpback Dolphins and the Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins.

Migratory shorebirds, hawksbills, and loggerhead turtles are some of the other animals regularly sighted on this tour. The tour also offers a delicious lunch, morning or afternoon tea, and a licensed bar to purchase additional drinks!

So what are you waiting for? Book your adventure sailing experience today! Oh, and don’t forget your beach essentials!
