About Broome

Broome is a coastal town sitting pretty on the pristine shores of the Indian Ocean in Western Australia. It serves as the gateway to the legendary Kimberley region. Known for its breathtaking sunsets, rich cultural history, and bustling pearl industry, this town offers a relaxed and diverse range of experiences.

Learn about the town's pearling history on popular Broome tours, where you can partake in interactive pearl harvesting experiences. You can also visit the famous Cygnet Bay showroom and other museums to enhance your knowledge about the pearling heritage of Broome.

From unique natural phenomenons like the ‘Staircase to the Moon’, to the spectacular sun-kissed shores of Cable Beach and the ancient Boab trees, Broome offers a glimpse into what Australia is all about. The sunsets here have a story of their own and are best experienced on Broome cruises. These boat tours also offer the opportunity to see the rare Snubfin Dolphins and the Humpback Whales (seasonal).

Another must-see attraction here is the Horizontal Falls in Kimberley. Located in the remote Talbot Bay, this natural wonder is caused by massive tidal movements rushing through narrow gorges. So, how will you see it – from a seaplane or on one of the Broome boat tours? Your choice! So, whether you seek relaxation, a glimpse into indigenous culture or an adrenaline rush amidst nature’s playground, Broome promises an unforgettable adventure.
